Bush Sunflower is a drought-tolerant, bushy perennial with yellow flowers. It develops a deep taproot and needs well-draining soils such as sandy or clay loams (it does not tolerate salinity, deep sands, heavy clays or wet bottomlands). Bush Sunflower provides nectar for butterflies and seeds for songbirds.
