Helianthus salicifolius (Willowleaf Sunflower)
$ 4.98
Willowleaf Sunflower is a tall, clump-forming perennial grown for its distinctive fine-textured foliage as much as its late-season bloom. Numerous long, narrow, drooping leaves arch outward, forming a tidy, shrub-like mound. In the summer, Willowleaf Sunflower produces clusters of medium yellow sunflowers with dark brown to reddish centers. It is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions and does best in full sun.
Willowleaf Sunfower spreads by rhizomes and can create dense colonies over time. It can be divided every 3-4 years to control spread and maintain vigor.
